Editable Sidekick resumes [Rollout began: Sept 16] We've started rolling out an update that allows you to download the resume you polish with Sidekick as an editable .docx file, not just a PDF. That makes it easier to keep iterating on your resume after Sidekick's feedback.

Events on Android [Launched: Sept 10] The Events experience on Android has been completely rebuilt, so finding and registering for career fairs and events is easier than ever. Search, event details, and registration now work the same way across every event type.

Homepage refresh [Launched: Sept 10] Your Handshake home page now makes it clearer what to do next, with a new checklist guiding you through uploading a resume, filling out your profile, and reviewing your career interests. It also gives you quicker access to your career center's most useful resources.

iOS career fairs redesign [Launched: Sept 9] The in-person career fair experience on iOS has been completely redesigned and is now available to everyone, including updates like one-tap "add to calendar."

Shared email domains for schools [Launched: Sept 9] If your school shares an email domain with other campuses or a consortium, signing up just got smoother: you'll now see a list of matching schools to pick from when creating your account, so you're less likely to end up affiliated with the wrong one.

Sidekick resume formatting update [Launched: Sept 3] We’ve made some updates to Sidekick's resume guidance: generic summary statements are no longer recommended, and if you have less than 3 years of professional experience, your education now appears higher on the page.

Account auto-merge [Launched: Sept 1] Signing up with your personal email now works better if your school already created a Handshake account for you with your school email. Your accounts merge automatically instead of leaving you with a duplicate. The same automatic merging now also kicks in when you affiliate with your school afterward, so you won't end up juggling two separate profiles.

Flexible job digest [Experiment launched: August] We’re testing a new type of job digest email spotlighting part-time, on-campus, and other flexible work for students looking to make money while they job search.
