Handshake student product updates—October 24, 2024

One-click preference update [Launched: October 11, 2024] 

Students can now update their email preferences with a single click. When selecting "manage notification preferences" in emails, students are redirected straight to the relevant section on the notification preferences page—no need to scroll through long lists of settings.

Daily digest opt-in [Launched: October 11, 2024] 

Students now have the option to receive a daily digest of campaign emails instead of multiple individual messages. Students can also choose a weekly digest if they prefer to be notified less often—this weekly option existed before the addition of the daily digest option.

Time stamp on feed posts [Launched: October 17, 2024]

We’ve added time stamps to feed posts to help users see when content was posted. These time stamps are similar to those that appear on job postings.

Student profile updated on iOS [Launched: October 18, 2024]

The refreshed student profile is now available on iOS. Matching the look and feel of the profile on web, this mobile update also adds the new “Looking for” section, new header and banner selections, and follow functionality.
