Persistent job search context experience [Launched: October 2, 2025] 

Job seekers clicking on a job search card from a collection on the homepage will now have the job search page opened with the job pre-selected,the collection’s description displayed, and other jobs in the collection visible. This allows job seekers to maintain the context of their search while being able to explore related opportunities. This was a previous test experience that is now available to 100% of job seekers on Handshake. More information here. 

Improved feed relevance with a new model [Launched: October 7, 2025] 

Handshake’s feed is now powered by a new machine learning model trained in PyTorch, improving how content is ranked and personalized for each job seeker. Early results show stronger engagement, with more job seekers liking posts and watching videos longer. This update helps us lay the groundwork for more advanced recommendation models in the future.
