Sidekick [Rollout began: June 17, 2026]
Sidekick, Handshake's resume optimizer, is continuing to roll out to all students over the next few weeks. It is currently live for about half of all users. Sidekick helps you build a stronger, ATS-friendly resume that's tailored to the types of jobs you're targeting.

Inactive email address [Launched: June 17, 2026]
If your school email address becomes inactive, Handshake now automatically switches your notifications to your personal email (if you’ve added one to your profile) so you don't miss opportunities.

Profile completion tracker [Launched: June 23, 2026]
A new checklist shows you exactly how complete your Handshake profile is and what to do next. A more complete profile makes you more likely to get proactive outreach from employers.
