Public likes [Launched: January 27, 2025]

Public likes enable users to click on the like count on any content to see who has liked that post. This is true for a user’s own posts as well as other people’s posts. When you click to see who liked a post you can also follow them. 

Engagement metrics in creator analytics emails [Launched: January 31, 2025]

We’ve updated the emails that users receive about engagement with their feed posts. Previously, those emails only showed impression counts. Now, they also include counts of likes and comments. We’ve also added a preview of the post so users can easily see which post is driving engagement.

Captions on feed videos [Launched: February 3, 2025] 

New videos posted to the feed will include automated captions—an important step to improve accessibility for users on the feed. Captions will not be automatically applied for videos posted before this update launched.
