The new content and community feed is available for all students on our iOS and Android apps. The feed helps students access a rich breadth of career content from trusted sources—their school, employers, Handshake, and even other students—that helps them feel confident and motivated to take next steps in their career search.
Benefits in job posts [Launched: February 8, 2024]
Students now see a benefits section on job postings if the employer provided pay or benefits information when creating the job.
Job search typeahead [Launched: February 8, 2024]
We rolled out a new iteration of job keyword search for students. Now, students see recommended job roles, employers, and industries when they start typing. This update helps students select more powerful keywords—to date, we’ve seen statistically significant increases in job clicks and applications when students use the new experience.
Pay and benefits filters [Experiment launch: February 13, 2024]
We launched new pay and benefits filters on the job search page for 50% of students.
"At a glance" job details [Experiment launch: February 13, 2024]
We've launched a new "At a glance" section at the top of job postings to 50% of students. This section highlights pay, location, job type, and work authorization information—making it easier for students to find the most valuable information.
Coco recommends events, employers, and people [Beta launch: February 16, 2024]
Coco can now recommend relevant events, employers, and people to students who ask for career guidance. Coco is currently available to students at 10 pilot institutions.
