Importer account update [Launched: June 25, 2026]

In response to a change made by Workday, we’re granting new importer permission to schools who use Workday for their student information systems. This change is necessary to allow Workday customers to continue successfully importing data into Handshake. (Contact our Support team if you are a Workday school and Handshake has not already been in touch with you.)

Note that as a result, these schools will be able to see the names of import jobs (but no details of the job itself) created by other schools in the past 30 days. Be advised importer job names should remain generic to keep your school’s information private.
